Nicholas Snow and guest co-host Clifton Tatum are live as a Vibrant Community arrives for the 2022 CENTER STAGE gala, Friday, October 21. The theme, “Together We Rise,” where “we celebrate the joyous union of solidarity among our LGBTQ+ and allied communities from Palm Springs to the Salton Sea amid these unprecedented times.”
“The collective work of many individuals and organizations for our communities, for our valley, and for what is right exemplifies this theme not just in words but in action and results,” say organizers. “In that spirit, we honor Jeremy Hobbs of the Western Wind Foundation and Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest for the tremendous impact both of these organizations continue to have in the Coachella Valley and beyond. LGBTQ+ liberation and empowerment are inherently intersectional, and we cannot think of two better organizations to partner with in the march toward justice.”
The scene, the Palm Springs Air Museum, with a backdrop of stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains and departing planes, and dazzlingly catered by the iconic LULU California Bistro. Headlining the evening’s entertainment are Jennifer Corday (award-winning and out-and-proud lesbian singer/songwriter) and Brian Justin Crum (top-charting queer singer-songwriter).
