His musical journey from is filled with heartfelt moments and soulful melodies that resonate with a diverse audience. Through his music, Roy shares personal stories that touch the heart and ignite the spirit.
In Roy’s own words:
“I started playing music in coffee houses in Gainesville and met a woman who convinced me to pair up with her and go on the road and play music. Dropped out of college and we took off to the west coast of Florida and started to find work in hotel lounges and bars.
Fast forward to living in Palm Springs, California, with my husband. He became ill and unfortunately, passed on. During his last year, music became my only source of pleasure. For the first time in my life, lyrics came to me in my imagination and in my dreams. Music was the primary force that allowed me to get out of bed, to slowly move out of my depression.
Today, fate has been kind to me. Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to publish music and perform in a variety of venues in the Coachella Valley and the High Desert. Music has presented amazing experiences and connections with people. My future in music is like a wave that I’m gonna ride for a long time. “
