Featuring Rev. Dee Calmett and special guests (revealed in this broadcast), this evening of gospel music seeks “to bring God’s party to everyone seeking a place of hope and acceptance.
As reported in the Desert Sun, “The Transdenominational Gospel Music Concert will take place at 6 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Palm Springs. The event is free but any donations made will benefit Fresh Expressions Kitchen, a feeding ministry that prepares more than 1,000 meals weekly for people experiencing food insecurity.”

About Rev. Dee Calmett
Rev. Dee Calmett is a transgender spiritual teacher and motivational speaker based in Palm Springs. Her ministry emphasizes positive, inclusive messaging especially directed toward the LGBTQ+ community, and she advocates living authentically as a pathway to healing and inner peace.
In a 2024 interview on NBC Palm Springs, Calmett shared how her lifelong personal journey included identifying as a gay man, a drag queen, and living with HIV—culminating now in embracing her identity as a trans woman at the age of 75. She stressed that coming out is an ongoing process of self-discovery
