Acord offers his take on some light-hearted topics – the reasons gay men love divas, how precocious parents are ruining their children, and why gay men should celebrate getting older. Highlights also include Acord’s exhaustive catalog of 20 movies made before 2000 that every gay man born after 2000 should watch, a look back at his disastrous stint as a Los Angeles theatre critic, and how the late, great Leslie Jordan inspired him to embrace his ‘inner curmudgeon’ and still find happiness.
Acord’s previous book, the tongue-in-cheek 2020 memoir SUB-LEBRITY, was a five-star Amazon bestseller and garnered rave reviews.
