Fashion Show for a Cause Brings Style, Dining and Rescue Support to Rancho Mirage

Rancho Mirage is getting ready for an evening where fashion, food, music and compassion share the spotlight.

On Thursday, June 4, 2026, California Paws Rescue will be the beneficiary of Fashion Show for a Cause, a special fundraising dinner and runway event hosted at Willie’s Modern Fare in Rancho Mirage.

Set for 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the main dining room at Willie’s Modern Fare, the evening brings together dining, live music, Palm Springs resort wear, and a community-minded mission: supporting the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs in need.

California Paws Rescue describes itself as a Bull Terrier rescue driven by a deep love for animals and a commitment to giving dogs a second chance at life. The organization focuses on the unique needs of rescued Bull Terriers, helping them heal from past challenges and move toward safe, loving forever homes.

The Palm Desert-based nonprofit also provides shelter and care for rescued dogs through foster homes, boarding facilities and training facilities, while making dogs available for public adoption and online adoption. California Paws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The June 4 benefit adds a fashionable twist to that lifesaving work, with featured designs by Antoni Kirk, the Palm Springs resort-wear label built around bold color, comfort, flair and desert glamour.

Antoni Kirk describes the brand as “Luxury Resort Wear, Designed in Palm Springs,” with pieces created for people who live in vacation mode — effortlessly, unapologetically and beautifully. For this event, the Spring and Summer Collection will take center stage, bringing relaxed resort energy to the runway.

The official Antoni Kirk event listing calls the evening “a night of Food, Fashion & Music” benefiting California Paws Rescue, with music by Hit Men, a dynamic singing duo making their Willie’s debut.

Entertainment will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Willie’s Modern Fare provides the setting for the event. Known for combining the elegance of fine dining with warmth and conviviality, the Rancho Mirage restaurant offers seasonal, freshly prepared cuisine from Executive Chef Oscar Barajas and his culinary team, along with creative cocktails and a carefully curated wine list.
