The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert is proud to announce Jeff Weyant and Marty Massiello will receive the Legacy Award at its annual Center Stage gala presented by Eisenhower Health.

The award honors those who have made a lasting impact to the Coachella Valley’s LGBTQ+ community. As longtime supporters of The Center, Weyant and Massiello have contributed significantly to building the thriving and expansive organization The Center is today.

The Center Coachella is a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth living in the Eastern Coachella Valley and a source of culturally competent support for their family members. Interactions with community members at The Center Coachella more than doubled in the last year thanks to a variety of programming that bring people together and connects the community.

Center Stage will take place Friday, October 17, at the Palm Springs Air Museum, with the theme “Creating Impact Together.” Tickets and sponsorship information are available online through The Center’s website at www.thecentercv.org/centerstage.

Honorary co-chairs of Center Stage will be Andy Mills, the Palm Springs Chief of Police, and his wife, Cathy Mills.

The evening will also feature a silent and live auction and a live performance by the talented and powerful singer Marisa Corvo. All funds raised through Center Stage benefit The Center.
