On April 25, 1998—his 36th birthday—Nicholas Snow stepped onto the intimate stage of the Cinegrill at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel for a performance that captured a singular moment in time: an artist in full expression, surrounded by music, storytelling, and the pulse of live connection.
Now, exactly 28 years later, that night returns.
For the first time ever, Nicholas Snow: Live at the Cinegrill was released in its entirety—precisely 28 years later—on April 25, 2026, restored from original VHS recordings and presented exclusively for supporters of PromoHomo.TV® on Patreon.

The concert, themed “Our Love in the Rhythm of Life,” was more than a cabaret-style performance. Backed by a four-piece band and joined by a backup singer, Snow delivered a 15-song set that blended interpretation with deeply personal artistry. Five of the songs were his own compositions, offering an early glimpse into a creative voice that would continue to evolve across journalism, broadcasting, and multimedia storytelling.
The Cinegrill itself—once a storied venue within the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel—was known for its proximity, its atmosphere, and its history. It was a room where performers didn’t just entertain; they connected. That intimacy is preserved in the recording: the immediacy of live vocals, the interplay with musicians, and the unfiltered energy of a night unfolding in real time.
In 1998, Snow was already building the foundation of a life in media and performance—long before the launch of PromoHomo.TV® and his emergence as a distinctive voice in LGBTQ+ storytelling. Seen now, this concert becomes something richer than nostalgia. It is a document of origin—a moment when music, identity, and purpose were already finding their rhythm together.
The restoration itself carries its own kind of poetry. Drawn from VHS—a format as textured and imperfect as memory—the footage has been carefully preserved rather than over-polished, honoring the authenticity of the era while making it newly accessible for today’s audience.
This is not a recreation. It is a return.
And for those who have followed Nicholas Snow’s journey—or are discovering it anew—this release offers something rare: a chance to witness the artist not as he is remembered, but as he was, fully alive in the moment, singing his story into the room.
