Palm Springs Pride Parade 2026: Forty Years of Pride, Live for the World to See
On Sunday, November 8, 2026, Palm Canyon Drive will become a moving celebration of LGBTQ+ history, visibility and community. Greater Palm Springs Pride marks its 40th anniversary with a parade built around this year’s theme, “Be Included.” PromoHomo.TV® will bring the occasion to viewers everywhere with its official live parade broadcast, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Pacific. The parade steps off at 10 a.m.
From a broadcast position near EIGHT4NINE Restaurant & Lounge in the Uptown Design District, Executive Producer and Host Nicholas Snow and the PromoHomo.TV® team will welcome parade contingents as they travel south on Palm Canyon Drive. Expect the color and sound of floats, performers, marchers, flags and cheering spectators—along with live commentary that introduces the people and organizations taking part.
Four decades of showing up
Palm Springs Pride began in 1986 with a dinner and variety show at the Riviera Resort. Its first parade, then called the Desert Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade, brought 35 units into the streets. Forty years later, the celebration is a defining community gathering, and the parade remains a chance to be seen, to stand together and to make room for those still finding their place.
“Be Included” speaks to that continuing purpose. Pride honors the people who built this community while inviting new generations to take part. The theme reaches beyond those walking in the parade: it includes the neighbors lining the route, the people watching from home, and everyone for whom seeing a public celebration of LGBTQ+ life matters.
PromoHomo.TV® returns for its 10th live broadcast
For PromoHomo.TV®, the 40th anniversary also marks a milestone. This will be the network’s 10th live broadcast of the Palm Springs Pride Parade since its first in 2016. During the pandemic, when Pride was celebrated virtually, PromoHomo.TV® offered encore parade broadcasts during virtual Pride week to help keep viewers connected to the event and one another.
This year, the team returns to the street to share the parade as it happens. Viewers around the world can watch on YouTube, join the live conversation and celebrate alongside Palm Springs—even if they cannot be here in person.
The parade and its grand marshals
The 2026 parade begins at Tachevah and Palm Canyon Drive, travels south through downtown Palm Springs, and concludes near the entrance to the Pride Festival at Amado Road. Greater Palm Springs Pride expects the procession to last approximately two hours.
This anniversary year’s honorees include National Grand Marshal Fortune Feimster, Celebrity Grand Marshal Cheyenne Jackson, Pride Royalty for Life Marshall Pearcy, and Community Grand Marshal Gary Moline. Together, they reflect the creative talent, service and community leadership that help make Pride possible.
